This year I hosted the Spruce 2 year anniversary party at the Oriental Theater in Denver, Colorado. The Spruce team asked me to come up with some creative ways to spice up the event and pull in more of the Denver creative community. If there is one thing I know that always pulls the community together, it's local music. So I linked up with Badda Boom Brass Band (a New Orleans style marching band) to help kick off the evening. We thought it would be a great idea to live stream me leading the marching band into the theater while they play their party-style jazz in the streets on our walk to the theater. So that's exactly what we did. We got people on the streets engaged and at the same time, the audience in the theater could watch the entire thing go down as we brought the street party to the anniversary party! What a fun way to kick off the evening and another fantastic collaboration with the team at Spruce. Here is that live video we created to kick off the event!
